Oktoberfest(e) 2012 in Munich and Hawai'i

2012 Oktoberfest - Munich 9/22
O'zapft is! We just happened to be in Germany during the opening weekend when at the same times some of our Hawaiian friends had a layover in Munich. We took the opportunity, hopped on a train and meet then in Munich to go to the Oktoberfest. Yes, it was raining that day, but stopped in the early afternoon. At least it was only moderately busy and you could actually walk through without getting crushed. What an experience.
Hale Koa Hotel 9/29
The Oktoberfest at the Hale Koa Hotel was a real Gaudi!
Well organized, great atmosphere and real good food. (I had a Schweinshaxn with Sauerkraut and Kartoffelbrei - echt lecker). We will try to organize a table for the German Club for next years event.

Gerhards Oktoberfest Party 10/6
Gerhard's Oktoberfest was a real Gaudi! Fun people, great food, a beer keg and Jägermeister - cant go wrong. The pictures speak for itself. Looking forward to next year.
Oktoberfest at the Miramar Hotel 10/12
Chef Guido masterfully created a great buffet, the Edelweiss Trio (Karl, Linda and Rupert) played their heart out and everyone had a great time at the Mriamar Waikiki Oktoberfest. Best of all, we did have our own prime table and almost 30 people there. Hope they will do it again next year.
