WHITE ROSE EXHIBIT - On view UHM Hamilton Library’s Bridge Gallery through Friday, March 22, 2013.
This exhibit on loan through the White Rose Foundation, Munich, Germany and made possible
with the generous support of the German Consulate of San Francisco; the Honorary Consul of the
Federal Republic of Germany in Hawaii; the College of Languages, Linguistics and Literature;
and the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Hamilton Library. Mahalo! Catch it this month before it goes!

Inspired by actual events, Remembrance depicts a love story that blossomed in a concentration camp in Poland in 1944.

The producers of the Academy Award-winning The Counterfeiters are back with this audacious caper comedy. Victor Kaufmann, the son of wealthy Jewish art gallery owners in Vienna, is best buddies with their housekeeper’s son Rudi Smekal. When the Nazis annex Austria, Rudi enlists and betrays Victor by revealing a Michelangelo sketch the Kaufmanns have hidden in their home. Then in a twist of fate, Rudi and Victor, a prisoner of the Germans, are led to swap identities as they vie to recover the priceless drawing, promised as a gift from the Führer to Mussolini. Hawai'i premiere.
