The German community in the Hawaiian Islands is estimated to be over 5,000 strong. Given this large number, we should see a greater positive impact on our community. Our aim is, by bringing the German community together, to increase our socio-economic impact, beyond to what an individual could do.
Goals
- Create a German Business Directory "Das Expertenbuch"
- Establish a German language and culture School for Children
- Start a German Christmas Market (as part of Honolulu City Lights)
- Assist in furthering trade relations and business activities
- Increase Tourism and revenues coming to Hawaii
- Connect to German Sister Cities
